Next-Gen Indoor Air Quality Monitors

HomeCleanse Guardian is a 24/7 Security System for Indoor Air

Precision mold remediation and indoor environmental health expert HomeCleanse announced the launch of HomeCleanse Guardian, a first-of-its-kind, 24/7 security system for indoor air developed to continuously protect homes from silent threats to health. This smart system helps people detect and proactively respond to airborne threats like mold spores, mycotoxins, fine particulates, VOCs, and humidity imbalances.

Although products and services that support longevity are in demand, indoor air quality remains an overlooked aspect of leading a long, healthy life. According to the EPA, the average person spends nearly 90% of their time indoors, where the air can be up to five times more polluted than outdoor air. "The Guardian answers a problem most individuals don't even realize exists," said Michael Rubino, Founder and CEO of HomeCleanse.

Continuous Indoor Air Surveillance
A fertile area for always-on monitoring ecosystems that correlate long-term exposure data with occupant health metrics and service-based revenue models.
Sensor-to-health Data Integration
Creates opportunities for cross-disciplinary data pipelines that link environmental sensors with wearable and clinical data to reveal individualized indoor exposure risks.
Predictive Indoor Environmental Maintenance
Enables systems that forecast mold and VOC events from microclimate and usage patterns, shifting value toward preventative remediation and maintenance forecasting.

Industries Being Reshaped

Residential HVAC and Filtration
Advancements in compact, networked IAQ sensors open the door to integrated HVAC systems that adapt filtration and ventilation strategies based on real-time contaminant profiles.
Smart Home Security and Iot Platforms
The framing of IAQ as a 24/7 home security function supports bundling air monitoring into existing smart-home subscription services and unified threat dashboards.
Healthcare and Preventive Medicine
Continuous indoor exposure datasets have the potential to inform clinical risk assessments and population-level studies that link indoor environments to chronic respiratory and immune conditions.
