The Hole Collection by Giancarlo Zema, a designer and architect born in Rome, Italy, is a wine set that has been made out of recycled cardboard. Yet at first glance it could easily be mistaken for a repurposed beehive. As unlikely as that might seem, the texture and shape is eerily similar to such a nest. Yet instead of housing the endangered species, it is made to hold bottles of wine.

Created for Origami Furniture, the Hole Collection by Giancarlo Zema is comprised of a large bottle holder for seven bottles, a small bottle holder and a tray perfect for discarded corks. Sculptural and decorative, the wine set brings the a perfect organic touch of nature into the home. Not to mention that it is a conversation starter.
