'Himiway,' the Shanghai-based electric bicycle manufacturer, announced that it is developing a new high standard Himiway screen for e-bikes. This screen is intended to be bright enough to view during a sunny day, and dimmable enough to not be distracting at night. Additionally, Himiway stated that the bike will have improved weatherproofing, specifically waterproofing, and will show more information without adding extensive bulk.
Most e-bike screens show limited information such as battery life, current speed, and the current time. However, this Himiway screen will show LED light status, brightness, estimated remaining range, and more features that Himiway has yet to explicitly confirm. On top of that, this screen boasts color support and a backlit display, making it easy to look at in most outdoor conditions.
