Not speaking Japanese definitely puts me at a disadvantage with this one. Meet 'Haro', a character from the Japanese anime series Gundam 00 (or at least so I gather from the translated website). The Robot tells time, but doesn't seem to be accurate enough to be used as an alarm clock. And if you don't want to wait for it to talk and move on its own - you just need to poke it.
I think this is one of those things where you probably have to be a fan of the show to appreciate it. It seems kind of strange to me. But hey, to each his own! Maybe it will become a cult classic with time.
