Hands-free headstands are impressive in and of themselves. Captured around the world in stunning locations and they are even more awe-inspiring. As though trying to one-up the Naked Handstander, who made waves on the Internet a few months ago, the hands-free headstands are performed perfectly by photographr Anton Charushin. Although he keeps his clothes on, the images look even more surreal than the previous project.
A former breakdancer, the hands-free headstander was inspired to create this series after desiring something different from“the same old ‘me-and-something-beautiful-in-the-background’ photos." All Charushin requires is a small flat space for his head and a friend to wield the camera. Otherwise he and his environment does most of the grunt work.
