Entry-Level Graphics Cards

NVIDIA Released the 'GTX 1630 4GB' Graphics Card as a Budget Option

NVIDIA added a new graphics card to its 16 series of cards titled the 'GTX 1630.' This is a budget-friendly card with decent specifications for its price point. The card boasts four gigabytes of VRAM, 64-bit memory interface width, and a maximum boost clock of 1785 Mhz across its 512 CUDA cores. Similarly to the other cards in the 16 series, the GTX 1630 is based on NVIDIA's Turing architecture, making it cost-friendly to manufacture.

The GTX 1630 arrives at an MSRP of $199.99 USD. However, third-party manufacturers such as ZOTAC and GIgabyte may adjust the price based on card-specific features, such as more fans or an adjusted power draw. The GTX 1630 is competing in the popular market of sub-$200 graphics cards with the likes of the AMD Ryzen RX 6400 and the RTX 3050.
