This GoPro Sidekick light attachment for use is intended for use with the GoPro Hero actioncam. The handy device is made by California-based company Light & Motion, which is already quite renowned for offering quality outdoor activity lights.

The basic model of the Sidekick is the Sidekick Flood which is constructed from a single milled block of aluminum. Watertight down to a depth of 61 meters, the camera is equipped with a Cree XM-L U2 LED that emits a wide 600-lumen bean of light. The Sidekick Duo model gives users the ability to switch to a 400-lumen spot beam.

The Go Pro Sidekick is currently the subject of a Kickstarter campaign. A pledge of $80 will get you a Flood unit, with $135 the asking price for a Duo.
