Domain-Based Search Engine Updates

The New Google Search Update Limits Same Site Results

The new Google search update looks to give users more variety of results. This was done by not presenting more than two top results that come from the same website. However, users may still see more than two results from the same website if the Google algorithm has decided that the specific website is the most relevant result.

The Google search update is domain based, which means it will engage with subdomains as a piece of one website. This means the search engine will include subdomains in the maximum results. However, there are still some websites that do not seem to work with the new update, Twitter, for example, will still show more than two results.
