Designer Chang Do Oh has created the Goalf Robot Caddie concept, which imagines the assistant in an autonomous form. The Goalf essentially is conceptualized to replace a human caddie with a robot caddie to optimize players in also achieving any golfing goals.

In addition to following the user around and handing them their desired golf clubs, the caddie can also memorize the right form of club to use in certain situations. It provides information to optimize performance as well. The smart features improve a player's game overall and there is a screen on the robot that shows the information about various performances. This includes the calculated statistics of a players' swing, handicap, and much more.
