The 'Giving Shelter' Event Explores Ways to Keep Cats Happy

The Giving Shelter display was done for a benefit event in LA, that places its focus on felines for the evening. A number of different architects came out to support these hairy critters, creating an array of homes for cats.

The designs varied in terms of structure, with some focusing more on producing a geometric shape, and others going for functionality. One in particular stands out, which offers space for two cats to rest. The design doubles as a side table, with a front that opens up to allow for the pets to crawl inside and relax. That way owners can enjoy a piece of furniture to rest their drink on, as well as provide shelter for their cats.

Hopefully some of these designs will go to market for the avid cat-lovers.
