Gfinity’s Athlos Tournament Platform Joins with Playgendary Games

Athlos Game Technologies, a company owned by Gfinity, has announced plans to turn its tournament ecosystem into a platform for games developed by Playgendary. The company's core offering is a platform for competitive tournaments that can be integrated into mobile games. Although the games that will support Athlos' platform have not yet been revealed, integration appears to be happening shortly. Depending on the number of people actively utilizing the platform across all Playgendary's games, Gfinity will be compensated monthly as a part of the deal.

“We are delighted to join forces with the Playgendary team. Most gaming spend is now in-game and competitive players spend significantly more than casual gamers. This means our market-leading technology can deliver a significant and direct cash benefit to publishers,” said Neville Upton, Gfinity’s chairman.
