Balenciaga Launch Gender Inclusive 'Leopold Ballerina' Shoes

Balenciaga has released new gender-inclusive ballerina shoes called the Leopold Ballerina. The ballerina shoes were first displayed in Balenciaga's 'The Mud Show' event and are a part of its Summer 2023 collection. The ballerina shoes are made in a style that defies traditional gender norms, as it is offered in an expandable range of sizes.

Designer Demna designed the ballerina shoes, and they come in three different colorways: turquoise, black, and light beige. The ballerina shoes are designed in a minimalist approach with no outstanding design features added. The ballerina shoes were constructed from satin and contained a top knot design. It is round-toed, with the leather insole being the same color as the outer appearance of the ballerina shoes. In addition, the ballerina shoe's sole is thin and black in color with Balenciaga's branding logo and the shoe size. The ballerina shoes are available for $925 in sizes EU 39-46.
