Hiring the right person for the job is an art form in and of itself, so the idea of gamified recruitment shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. It's not the idea of turning recruitment into a game, per se, but setting a challenge in a more tech-savvy scenario. After all, many interviews come with assignments depending on the industry, and so this simply provides a more streamlined platform.

Created by CodeFights, the gamified recruitment app -- dubbed Company Bots -- was put to the test with the help of Uber. Fast Company writes that "participants would compete in a timed challenge against the automated UberBot, to solve some of the core challenges faced by the business such as finding an optimal route for a car." It's an interesting yet effective avenue to take.
