The From Lust to Glory photo series pursues a regal look that also borderlines on the exotic. As though a Victorian lady has visited some newly discovered Asian land, she embraces the culture with face paint and headdresses. Yet there is also a religious undertone to the outfits that would, for some, bring to mind Mary Magdalene.

Shot by photographer Julia Javel, the From Lust to Glory photo series was captured in studio against a dark backdrop, which gives each look a sense of mystery. It stars Evidence model Sofya. The brunette beauty was outfitted by stylist duo Diane Cabasse and Tara Ziegfeld, who draped her in sculptural silhouettes, rich hues and intricate embellishments. Not to mention a slew of jewelry. Hairstylist Sadek L and makeup artist Marie Nicolas were on beauty duty.
