Complimentary Fries Campaign

McDonald's Free Fries Friday Celebrates French Fry Day

Fast food giant McDonald's launches the Free Fries Friday promotion which is launching just in time for National French Fry Day. The origin of the snack stems from Belgian despite the name as the Belgians had fried stripes of potato as an alternative for fried fish during printer seasons.

The globally beloved snack can be found all over the world and French Fry day falls on July 13th this year. The fast food giant celebrates with a special offer where it will offer a free medium order of fries with any purchase made of at least $1 in the United States. This will be ongoing for the rest of 2024 on Fridays only and to redeem, users need to download the McDonald's app.
