Formal Heritage Sneaker Drops

adidas Adds the Albrecht II SPZL to Its Six-Pair Release

adidas expanded its SPZL line, directed by Gary Aspden, for fall/winter 2026. The six-pair drop arrives Nov. 6 on adidas CONFIRMED and through selected retail partners worldwide. Its clearest shift is the ‘Albrecht II SPZL,’ the line’s third straight formal-leaning pair, which gives men a dressier SPZL option alongside the archive sport references.

On the Albrecht II, revised upper proportions keep the 2015 design moving away from pure retro replay and toward easier daily wear. The ‘Wetherlam SPZL’ takes the opposite route, using ‘adi-Tex’ construction and hiking cues to bring weather protection to a trainer silhouette without losing the line’s casual feel.

adidas shows how availability through adidas CONFIRMED and selected retail partners can give the archive program broader reach, with prices from $120 to $180 positioning SPZL as a heritage offering for office dressing, casual rotation and colder-weather wear rather than solely for collectors.
