Given that musicians, especially rappers, hold a special place in their hearts for the cities they're based in, the NFL decided to enlist a few of them to design football shirts that pay tribute to this.
In order to do so, it enlisted the creative expertise of Eminem, YG, Linkin Park, Diplo, Wale, Mac Miller and Bone Thugs n Harmony. In each of the designs, the musicians stay true to the city-centered theme for the football shirts -- being sure to include its name, team colors or logos.
In addition, they often include their names -- with Linkin Park, Diplo and Mac Miller doing so with especial prominence. Although the musician-designed football shirts aren't all that costly, those wishing to get one will only be able to for a limited amount of time.
