The Flat Objects Typeshelf might not be the only font-inspired piece of furniture out there, but it certainly looks like it is one of the first flat-pack designs ever made. This funky shelving unit is a simple yet clever creation that combines form and function seamlessly.
Designed by Ufuk Keskin for Thirtyfive Creative Works, an up-and-coming design studio in New York City, the Flat Objects Typeshelf not only immerses itself in the recent typography fad seen in the industrial design industry of late, it also embraces a 2-D look that conveniently has 3-D capabilities. Made out of a single piece of powder-coated stainless steel, the Flat Objects Typeshelf is available in red, black and white.
