In-House Fire Prevention Devices

FireFighter1 Was Created as an Easy-To-Use Tool for Pool Owners

FireFighter1 was created as an easy-to-use tool for pool owners in the case of a fire emergency. The sleekly designed device connects to a swimming pool pump and can spray water up to 40 feet in the distance at a rate of 55 gallons per minute.

Bianca Wittenberg from Sacramento, California, was the mastermind behind this project. Her parents were both business owners, and her husband is a marine. The mother of four is dedicated to building solutions for obstacles we all face.

What separates this product from others is that it uses a pool pump as its only power source. This method is less expensive and can be stored away easily while still readily available in case of emergency. Other pumps use a gas engine with a hose that drops into the pool. These types of pumps range upwards of $4500.

Those interested in the project can find out more on the Kickstarter website.
