In an attempt to bridge the gap between formal attire and streetwear, luxury brand Lanvin released a line of fashion ensembles that have an occasion-ambiguous approach. The Spring/Summer 2019 collection of men's clothing uses minimalism and forward-thinking design to establish a balanced relationship between the casual and the refined. Designer Lucas Ossendrijver stresses that for him, "it's about finding a new kind of elegance, a new kind of sophistication, and a new kind of language."
During the Spring/Summer 2019 runway presentation, Lanvin's range of stylish and comfortable fashion ensembles truly exhibited the degree of versatility that can be achieved with careful planning and consideration. The label focused on the notion of "opposites" and attempted to integrate two otherwise conflicting elements within the narrative of a singular piece.
