Middle Eastern retailer Aizone recently collaborated with designers Jessica Walsh and Stefan Sagemeister of Sagmeister & Walsh to create this Roy Lichtenstein-inspired fashion campaign advertorial filled with bright hues, contrasting colors and bold looks. The campaign turned Lichtenstein's work into 3D storefront displays compete with over-exaggerated makeup looks, avant-garde ensembles and Lichtenstein's quintessential dotted painting effect.
The campaign shows off various items from Aizone's collection including garments and shoes through Lichtenstein's pop art style. The campaign features poka-dots, cross-hatching, modular figures and complementary colors to bring to life Lichtenstein's popular artwork. The final result is a series of technicolor comic book strip-style ads that entice the viewer through the heavy use of color. In addition to the ads, Sagmeister & Walsh created stop-motion videos for several of the products.
