FALCAM TagBatt integrates Apple's Find My technology into a rechargeable camera battery compatible with Sony's NP-FZ100 form factor. Built-in location tracking allows the battery to report its last known position through the Find My app if it is misplaced. A USB-C charging port is incorporated directly into the battery, eliminating the need for a dedicated external charger. The 2,600mAh capacity exceeds the original Sony NP-FZ100's 2,280mAh rating, while an integrated decoding chip supports accurate battery-level reporting and compatibility with supported camera systems.
The battery works across numerous Sony models, including Alpha 7, Alpha 9, Alpha 6700, FX3, FX30, and ZV-E1 cameras. Housing the tracking hardware inside the battery conceals the locator without requiring external accessories attached to the camera body or bag. Canon LP-E6 versions are also available, while Nikon EN-EL15 and Fujifilm NP-W235 models are currently in development. FALCAM lists the TagBatt with a retail price of $69.99.
