Netatmo Brings Facial Recognition Technology to Your Mobile Devices

While some companies are focusing on facial recognition technology in static images, Netatmo developed a way to integrate it with streamed high definition footage. Trend Hunter recently chatted with Netatmo Chief Operating Officer Matt Broadway about the features of their HD smartphone-enabled home camera.

In addition to launching facial recognition technology no one else has, the smart security camera has a number of other interesting and practical aspects. This includes a totally customized notification element that alerts your mobile device if a stranger or unknown face is found in your home, allowing you to respond as you wish. Users also own their own content, securely on their smartphones, and don't have to deal with subscription-based models. Although the connected home can be an overwhelming concept, Netatmo is simple to use.
