The Evian Baby Inside commercial garnered a ton of attention when it was first released three months ago -- 58 million YouTube views, to be exact. The commercial shows several unwary pedestrians looking at their reflections and seeing a baby looking back. They begin to dance, and the digitally created infants dance back, performing moves that no toddler would ever be able to pull off. To complement this hilarious, albeit disarming video, Evian has released a series of 'Baby Inside' t-shirts.
Each graphic tee shows a headless baby frozen in the middle of some complicated dance move. Since it's headless, the wearer's head looks as if it belongs to the body below. This gives the appearance of a bobble-headed baby, with the head of an adult.
These t-shirts are an ingenious marketing strategy. Not only do they drive more views towards Evian's viral video, but they also ensure that the brand's name remains on the tongue of millions of people.
