The Etro Fall/Winter 2013 advertising campaign is a perfect depiction of the wealth and exuberance of royalty. While referencing the past, Etro is also able to evoke a sense of modernity in its work.

Etro, well-known for its paisley prints, has once again made its ad campaigns spectacular. A mixture of male and female models are placed in a dark setting, with slivers of light picking up on an abundance of gold. There is a prominent gold wall fixture in the back of the shot that looks old world and expensive. The statues and throne style chairs make the viewer believe that the models are in a fantastically rich environment. The gold is in a direct contrast to the jewel tones that the models are wearing. Rich greens, blues and purples complement the expensive background.
