The robot features a compact, four-wheel design that would be destined for urban areas to help get deliveries between locations on city streets as it avoids obstacles and pedestrians alike. The unit would have a contact-free design that would require recipients to simply scan the QR code on top to open it up before heading back to the dispatch location.
The conceptual EQ Delivery Pod has a Mercedes-Benz-inspired design that, while only in the design phase as of now, could gain traction in the near future as the market adapts.
