Stunningly cinematic, it is only appropriate that the ELLE France May 2012 editorial has been inspired by the upcoming Baz Luhrmann film 'The Great Gatsby.' Full of vintage 20s-influenced fashion, glamorous parties, romantic story lines and suspenseful intrigue, the photoshoot appears to be almost genuine despite the overtly modern photography style.

The ELLE France May 2012 editorial was shot by Belgium-based photographer David Vasiljevic. It stars Camille Rowe and Melanie Thierry alongside a cast of male models including Joey Starr. They were all outfitted by stylist Michèle Beaurenaut in an elegant wardrobe that is a faithful representation of the era portrayed. The looks were perfected with fingerwaves and side parts by hairstylist Paolo Ferreira and flawless faces by makeup artist Tiina Roivainen.
