Smart Digital Stethoscopes

The Eko Duo Uses Deep Learning AI to Detect Atrial Fibrillation

Digital health technology company Eko Devices has announced the launch of the upgraded Eko Duo, a digital stethoscope equipped with deep learning algorithms that the FDA had just cleared for use by physicians in non-clinical settings.

A recent study using the upgraded Eko Duo found that the device could accurately be used to detect heart murmurs, clinically significant stenosis, and stenosis and mitral regurgitation, a level comparable to top-tier cardiologists. While the machine is suitable for clinical use, the newly launched model broadens its application to other settings such as patient homes, mobile clinics, and residential care facilities.

A breakthrough innovation, the Eko Duo digital stethoscope gives physicians in non-clinical settings the ability to detect early signs of heart disease with a high level of accuracy.
