The Aura Ink e-ink photo frame has been announced by the brand as is thinnest e-paper display yet that's engineered to display your choice of artwork within any space. The display measures in at 13-inches in width and is just 0.6 -inches in thickness, and will deliver up to three months of use per charge thanks to its low-power electronic paper design. The display also eliminates the need for physical power cables to allow for use almost anywhere.
The Aura Ink e-ink photo frame utilizes a proprietary dithering algorithm to expand the six-color ink system in the screen technology into millions of colors. This will reportedly create the illusion of full-color photographs despite the low-tech design of the display.
