Fabio Verdelli Design Studio’s DUNE Mouse is Stunning

The DUNE mouse by Fabio Verdelli Design Studio is one of the most striking examples of sculptural computer peripheries. Since much of the focus when designing tools like this falls on increasing functionality and efficiency, it is rare that someone designs an aesthetically breathtaking version.
The DUNE Mouse has some similarities with the Apple Magic Mouse in terms of its shape. However, the studio went further by creating textures with "transparent slices of linear vents intended to draw the eyes." Unlike the original Apple version which is all-white, the DUNE Mouse features a copper-tinted arc. As the name might suggest, Fabio Verdelli Design Studio was inspired by sand dunes when creating this sculptural computer periphery and this can be the reason for the color choice.
