Dual-Approval Real Estate Payments

DepositLink Adds Two-Person Payment Authorization

Dual-approval real estate payments are strengthening financial oversight as DepositLink introduces Payment Authorization in partnership with Keller Williams GO Network. The new feature requires two authorized administrators to participate in outgoing transactions, preventing funds from being released until a separate individual reviews and approves the payment.

Developed around GO Network's compliance requirements, the system allows one administrator to initiate a transaction while another completes the authorization. Each stage is documented through an audit trail identifying the individuals involved and the timing of their actions. GO Network has incorporated the feature into all outgoing payments processed through DepositLink, with availability extending to other real estate organizations.

For DepositLink, the capability creates opportunities to serve brokerages seeking stronger financial safeguards without disrupting established procedures. The additional oversight could also help property businesses improve accountability, support compliance efforts, and reduce exposure to unauthorized payments.
