Amber Gourmand Fragrances

D.S. & Durga Debuts a Narrative-Driven Gourmand Perfume

The Ain’t That Sweet fragrance expands D.S. & Durga's portfolio with an amber gourmand scent designed to reinterpret the traditionally sweet perfume category. Inspired by early-2000s New York City and the atmosphere of young romance, the composition opens with myrrh and Sri Lankan cinnamon before developing into a heart of date, praline and lily. Base notes of condensed milk, bourbon vanilla and nutmeg complete the fragrance, creating a warm profile intended to balance dessert-inspired accords with resinous and spiced elements.

Developed by founders David Seth Moltz and Kavi Moltz, the launch extends beyond fragrance into a broader creative campaign. An original music track composed by David Moltz accompanies the release, while new packaging introduces the brand's signature peach concrete colourway. Drawing on D.S. & Durga's storytelling-led approach to perfumery, the fragrance translates themes of late-night romance.
