Motorola, despite having dug a fairly deep grave for the phone series, has recently announced their intent to revive their former flagship gadget in the form of the Droid RAZR.

For a while, things were good for the RAZR concerning record sales, a positive customer referral rate and a genuinely capable phone. But then smartphones showed up on the scene, and with their Web 2.0 capabilities and marketplaces, the RAZR was utterly cornered. In the years since you last saw the antiquated model, it's since bulked up with a Kevlar-reinforced chassis, 4G functionality and a dual-core processor. But the fun doesn't end there: The Droid RAZR offers an 8 megapixel camera that's capable of recording in 1080p. Luckily, the new and improved RAZR can sustain more than 12.5 hours of talking time courtesy of a 1800 mAh battery.
