Dr Martens shoes for the SS 2013 collection are a stylish line-up of the company's classic silhouettes meeting new material treatments.
The collection consists of high-top boots, oxfords, brogues and loafers. This year Dr Martens has revamped its traditional styles and added offbeat interpretations. They introduced hounds tooth, tweed, stripes, weaved leather and army print to their assembly. Picture mind-boggling mash-ups that include, but are not limited to, oxfords made of half leather with punctured detail along with the striped fabric. An honorable mention must be given to the dressier styles that were given a new life with unconventional fusions like the fringed suede loafer with army print accents.
Dr Martens shoes are sure to make a reappearance on feet everywhere with this new line of mash-up footwear.
