Perfect for just about any recipe in which you would use vanilla extract, Trader Joe's new Double Fold Alcohol Free Bourbon Vanilla Flavoring can be used to make a wide variety of baked goods and sweet treats. To make the new product, Trader Joe's supplier starts with Madagascar-grown vanilla beans and then makes each batch with twice the amount of vanilla as one would use for standard-strength vanilla extract. The double-fold vanilla is then infused with vanilla bean seeds, which adds that extra potent vanilla flavoring, all without the use of alcohol.
