Domino's Pizza is looking to assist workers on the frontlines and those struggling with food insecurity during the COVID-19 crisis by donating 10 million slices across the US.
The franchise is working with its location owners and managers across the US to get a better understanding of how to distribute the free pizzas to members of each community. As Domino's believes that each franchise knows their community best, it will be up to them to decide where their donations go. That said, the chain expects that each of its 6,126 stores will be a part of the initiative.
Franchise owner Pat Farmer spoke to the initiative by saying, "It could be for families, frontline workers or even those showing up to work at our grocery stores. Stores are now actively looking for who they can help next. They have pride in how they’re making a difference during difficult times.”
