Whether you are all about achieving that extra volume or simply get a little lazy with washing your hair sometimes, this DIY dry shampoo is definitely worth looking into.
From Wilder Quarterly Editor Abbye Churchill and featured on the Free People blog, the tutorial calls for ingredients including arrowroot powder, orris root powder and drops of your favorite essential oil (Abbye suggests mixing ylang ylang and jasmine). You will also need a mixing bowl, whisk, tea towel and air-tight container (such as a spice shaker). Baking soda will also work. Once everything is mixed together, the potion must sit overnight before transferring it to its container or using in greasy hair.
Perfect for outdoorsy girls who are all about roughing it, the DIY dry shampoo is perfect for festival season.
