Dingyun Zhang continues to work in collaboration with Crocs on the new Diffuser slip-on. It is defined by a futuristic aesthetic and the slip-on also has an aerodynamic structure that rests on top of a plump sole unit reminiscent of the iconic adidas Foam Runner. The model is detailed with a perforated vamp which stays true to the design language of Crocs.
The DIffuser made its first public appearance in September during Paris Fashion Week. The clog subverts traditional expectations of the silhouette with a sleek and streamlined shape. The subversive design profile also has a sleek factor similar to the shape of a slim sneaker. The outsole is buoyant and thicker so that it truly merges both contributing efforts.
