There are some natural habits that are almost unavoidable when it comes to maintaining productivity such as constantly checking the time or repetitive tasks. While it is normal to keep track of how long one spends on a task, it's important to acknowledge that this little distraction only "trigger[s] overwhelming thoughts," causing pressure and lack of focus.
Frequent breaks are good for the mind, especially when the job requires long repetitive tasks or creativity, but the graph suggests breaks away from the desk to refresh as opposed to desk toys, which can get people sidetracked for too long. The infographic includes other suggestions for removing distractions from the desk to not only improve productivity but also the efficiency in which the tasks are carried out as well.
