Blackmagic Design, a software company offering advanced video editing software, has announced that one of its most popular products DaVinci Resolve, will soon be available on the iPad. The free version of DaVinci Resolve and the premium version, DaVinci Resolve Studio, will be open before the end of 2022 for iPad owners.
According to Blackmagic Design, the iPad edition of DaVinci Resolve 18 will feature the same standard DaVinci Resolve project files as the desktop version. However, this version is optimized for Apple Pencil and MultiTouch. In addition, users may easily import clips from the iPad Pro's internal storage and Photos library, as well as from externally connected iCloud and USB-C devices. Finally, H.264, H.265, Apple ProRes, and Blackmagic RAW are among the file types that are supported.
