David Zsako's Collaged Portraits are Both Humorous and Haunting

David Zsako's collaged portraits add some shock factor to the art world. When I saw these unique and strange pieces, I immediately loved them. One thing's for sure, they definitely aren't your standard traditional portraits. After photographing his subjects, Zsako collaged on top of their features to emphasize and exaggerate their expressions. The resulting faces are wonky, warped and whimsical.
I really love these collaged portraits for their imperfect qualities. Often, typical portraits will try to portray their subjects in a posed and perfect fashion. Zsako however, takes a less serious and more lighthearted approach to portraiture by playing around with photo manipulations.
David Zsako's collaged portraits are definitely a treat for the eyes. They're fun, creepy, creative and definitely memorable.
