One D2C swimwear company called Summersalt is aiming to disrupt the industry by following through with a line of inclusive bathing suits that are reflective of today's modern woman. While inclusive beachwear isn't a new concept, this brand is going above and beyond to find out what women really need, and scanned the bodies of 10,000 different people to get a better understanding of common sizes and proportions.
The company drew 1.5 million measurements from 10,000 women to create this line, which in addition to being inclusive, is also entirely eco-friendly. Retailing for just $95 a suit, this ethically conscious, stylish and practical line is offering women an alternative to the ill-fitting or expensive designer offerings on the market.
