Cupcakes and Cashmere's 'Credenza Makeover' is the latest decor project to come from the mind of author Emily Schuman. Schuman's friend bought a standard bedside table in need of some sprucing up, and she willingly took on the DIY project.
The before and after shots of this furniture piece are breathtaking. In just a few steps, Schuman managed to update what would otherwise be a plain, basic table.
Three coats of white paint were used as the base, giving the piece a fresh clean look. Black lining around the edges of the drawers made for a decorative white-on-black look. Golden knobs added upscale finishing touches, making the furniture item all the more appropriate for display in bedrooms and entrance hall spaces.
