Craig Green x adidas Introduces BOOST to the 'Stan Smith' and 'Retropy'

Craig Green has introduced another collection in partnership with adidas, which was first unveiled at his Spring/Summer fashion show in Paris. The collection focuses on the ‘Stan Smith’ and ‘Retropy’ silhouettes, which Green visualizes through a uniform, protection-focused lens. The ‘Stan Smith’ will receive a ‘BOOST’ silhouette made from the BOOST material and will be offered alongside two ‘Split Stan’ and ‘Flat Stan’ sandals. The ‘Retropy’ shape also incorporates BOOST uppers, using the technology to construct chunky, wearable versions of the original sneakers.

In an interview, Craig Green commented on the sneaker’s construction: “We always have a more conceptual and sculptural side to the collections, but we offset that with something very approachable and understandable. The sculptures are more interesting because there’s something approachable with them, and the clothing is more interesting because there’s something sculptural with it.”
