Luxe Cotton Sneakers

Rick Owens' Collection is Minimalist, Masculine and Alternatively Vegan

Rick Owens, a renowned fashion designer from Porterville, California, recently added to the collection of his 'DRKSHDW' label with a fresh series of cotton sneakers. Each version is available in black and white exclusively, working to add to the modern aesthetic that the designer goes for.

While the entire upper is a clean deep charcoal, the thick well-textured sole that supports it is a milky white. In the case of the mid and high-top models, white laces complement the uppers as well.

Although quite similar in structure to other cotton sneakers from companies like Converse, Rick Owen's design is especially durable -- with a heavy fabric that's meant to last and comfortable soles that can support the feet throughout years of wear. While not all of the cotton sneakers from the collection are exclusively vegan, the designer includes a high-top version that is in order to appeal to more consumers.
