This new AI-powered feature, now available in the United States, offers personalized tips for starting a conversation, inspired by photos on a user's profile and the answers they've provided in response to prompts. Convo Starters applies GenAI, guided by insights from Hinge’s team of PhD researchers and behavioral scientists.

According to research from Hinge, 72% of daters are more likely to consider someone when a like includes a message, and Hinge data shows that likes sent with a comment are twice as likely to lead to a date—and this key finding ultimately led Hinge to create Convo Starters.
