Prism eLogistics has partnered with The First Round to offer beverage businesses a service that covers drink development, pilot production, packing and distribution. Based at Prism’s site in Basingstoke, the service allows brands to test products in production-style conditions with pilot runs starting at 150 litres.
The offer covers a range of drinks, including functional beverages and sports nutrition products. Businesses can refine recipes, produce samples and assess demand before investing in larger production runs. Once a product is ready to scale, Prism can continue to handle packing and distribution.
By keeping development and later production stages with one provider, the partnership aims to simplify the process of bringing drinks to market. The 150-litre minimum also gives smaller businesses and established brands a way to test new products without immediately committing to full-scale manufacturing.
