Chrome Soccer Sneakers

Adidas And Arte Antwerp Give The F50 Motion A Chrome Makeover

Adidas and Arte Antwerp recast the F50 Motion as a chrome-finished version of the lightweight soccer sneaker, giving streetwear wearers a metallic update to a silhouette that began on the pitch. The collaboration keeps the F50's slim profile while shifting it toward everyday styling, and it is available through adidas.

The shoe draws on the F50's low-weight heritage: the line was once known for a 165-gram build, which helped make it one of the lightest football shoes of its era. In this edition, a stitched inner lining, nylon construction and punched-out Three Stripes add texture and breathability without losing the pared-back shape.

The chrome finish widens the F50 beyond soccer-focused buyers and into more fashion-led sneaker shopping. Arte Antwerp's treatment also extends the line's collaboration streak, using a bolder surface treatment to keep an older performance silhouette relevant off the field and in daily rotation.
