The Smart Door is a weatherproof door that self-locks when closed to prevent unwanted intrusions from predators or others. The door is fully compatible with the ChickenGuard Pro. This is a small IOT device that uses a variety of sensors to automatically ensure the safety of the chickens. When set to automatic mode, the device will open and close based on the sun cycle, offering 30-minutes of leeway time to ensure the chickens return to the inside of the coop. Additionally, the device can be programmed with custom times, or controlled remotely, if desired.
While the AI-related features on this device are limited to its light detection and smart door control capabilities, this is a simple, low-cost solution to augment a traditional chicken coop with necessary automated features.
