The #DGFamily Collection Celebrates Same-Sex Families

After a great deal of criticism from the likes of Elton John and other celebrities, Dolce & Gabbana is releasing a new collection that celebrates same-sex families and promotes diversity in the fashion world.

The #DGFamily collection is a new line that consists of various handbags and T-shirts embellished with heart-warming images of same-sex families. These cartoon-like images are fairly simplistic in design, yet they send an important message about the need for greater diversity in the fashion industry. While the line does not have a release date, the collection will most likely be sold at the UK department store Harrods.

The #DGFamily collection not only celebrates same-sex families, but it also represents a step towards more accurate representations of the LGBT community in the fashion industry.
